Shakamak State Park is located 3 miles west of Jasonville, Indiana on State Road 48. Jasonville is approximately 15 miles north of Linton, Indiana and 30 miles southeast of Terre Haute, Indiana.
About the Park
Midwest Summer Camp has been located at Shakamak State Park in the Group Camp since 1982. Shakamak has the largest Group Camp in the state, capable of housing 260 people when filled to capacity. According to the park director, our Senior Camp week is the largest group in the camp all summer, coming in with 200 campers and 48 support staff.
