Camp Registration (2024)

It's Time to Register for Camp!

The Camp that Built Me

Since its start in 1982, Midwest Summer Camp (MSC) has been a beacon of warmth, joy, and value-driven fun for children aged 8-18. Nestled in the heart of Indiana, at Shakamak State Park in Jasonville, MSC offers two distinct weeks of camp: Junior (ages 8-11) and Senior (ages 12-18).

What sets MSC apart is its deep-rooted commitment to Christ-like values and morals. Every counselor, director, cook, and staff member is a devoted member of the Lord’s church, bringing not only their expertise, but also their unwavering dedication to the well-being and spiritual growth of every camper.

For over four decades, the directors and counselors of MSC have volunteered their time and energy, to create a nurturing and enriching experience for each child who attends the camp. Their passion for nurturing young souls and shaping future leaders makes MSC not just a camp, but a community led by faith and a shared love for children.

Each day at MSC is filled with laughter, songs, and exciting activities. It’s clear that this is more than a summer camp—it’s a haven where friendships are forged, memories are made, and hearts are forever touched.

At MSC, every day is a delightful mix of fun and meaningful activities! Our mornings begin with campers diving into creative crafts, allowing their imaginations to run wild as they craft something special to take home. Alongside crafts, there’s dedicated time for thoughtful Bible study, providing campers with moments for reflection and spiritual growth. As the day unfolds, the excitement continues with team competitions! Campers will engage in lively matches of volleyball, basketball, wiffle hockey, kickball or the unique game of air raid. These competitions allow campers to earn points for their team, while still making memories! Campers in Senior Camp may also spend their afternoons preparing for the canoe races or lip sync battle at the end of the week.

After dinner, in the evening everyone joins together for the festivities! Campers may gather to sing praises on the lower sports field. Our Rec hall lights up with entertaining talent acts from campers, showcasing their skills and creativity, or talentless acts from staff members made to entertain. The whole week is building up to our “Team Day!” Campers will compete in a final obstacle course working together with the team members to come out on top! The evening ends with an ultimate lip sync competition at Senior Week, or a fun filled carnival afternoon at Junior Week.
