Camper Code of Conduct

As a camper,

I will dress appropriately, such as:

  • Wearing appropriate clothing and footwear to camp each day
  • Ensuring shorts, skirts, and dresses come down to the knee and not wear leggings unless under a dress, shorts, etc.
  • Ensuring shirts and dresses have sleeves and shirts extend sufficiently beyond the waist line so that no skin is showing.
  • Ensuring undergarments are not seen and that clothing is not too tightly fitting body.
  • Ensuring that clothing does not advertises alcohol, drugs, or inappropriate content and is not written on improper places, such as pant seats.
  • Ensuring any jewelry is safe and approved. Jewelry allowed for men is: necklace, bracelet, finger ring. Dog collars do not qualify as a necklace. Jewelry allowed for ladies is: necklaces, bracelets, finger rings, earrings. All other jewelry is not permitted.

I will conduct myself appropriately, such as:

  • Showing respect to the camp staff, participating in activities, and cooperating fully with their instructions.
  • Behaving safely and respectfully toward others. I understand that horseplay, inappropriate touching or teasing, bullying or any unkind behavior will not be tolerated.
  • Communicating in an appropriate manner. I will not use foul language, gestures, harsh words or verbally threaten. I will not discuss sexual matters or make inappropriate sexual comments.
  • Respecting the property of others, of MSC, and of camp facilities.  I will not steal, mark, deface or destroy camp or personal property.

I will follow camp rules, such as:

  • Adhering to curfews, camp boundaries, safety regulations, and camp schedules.
  • Following camp cell phone and electronic device regulations.
  • Not possess fireworks, explosives, alcohol, tobacco, vape, drugs, or other items determined not to be appropriate at camp.

I understand that my dress, conduct, and following camp rules are required. And that violation of these may result in disciplinary actions which could result in immediate dismissal from camp with no refund.
