MSC Junior Camp 2014 began today and the staff could not be more excited. Months of preparation goes into every camp and we want to thank all of the many volunteers that put so much effort into making this week so special for these 148 kids. A brand new Sunday night event at Junior camp is the Toilet Paper Challenge. Team captains unrolled a full roll of toilet paper and each team member had to hold a section of it while walking through an obstacle course. Another MSC Junior Camp Sunday night classic is the Hula Hoop Relay. Teams get in a circle and clasp hands while passing a hula hoop over their heads and jumping through. First team to get the hula hoop one complete time around the circle and sits down, wins.

Sunday night after the opening ceremonies, the campers got to meet with their team captains and their new teammates. They learned each other’s names, team cheers and team strategies for the week – all in preparation for the events that start that evening.
