The Cabin 10 Boys led camp in a talk about our theme for the week: Faith over Fear. Below is a short outline of what was discussed:
Who likes riding roller coasters? Are you afraid to ride them?
We pay money to ride roller coasters or go through haunted houses -Why?
How do we consider these scary things “fun”? Monsters aren’t going to eat us- roller coasters are run by professionals.
Heb 11:10
Fear comes from not knowing what is coming next. We don’t trust the Dark.
Faith provides us the safety and trust we need to carry on. Fear is real – we are going to face it, but If we put our trust in God, our fears will melt away and God will see us through.
