Saturday Morning Flagpole: God Fits

For our final flagpole devotion this morning, the Cabin 10 boys read their favorite scriptures that show how “God Fits” in our life.

Philippians 4:13 – “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” With God, we can do all things even when faced with adversity.

Psalm 23:4 – “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.”

Psalm 1:1-4 – We should meditate on God and His Word day and night, delighting in His Word, and God will fit into our lives.

Matthew 6:34 – “Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”

Proverbs 3:1-22 – We must not forget God’s Law, we must trust in the Lord, honor Him with all your being, despise not the chastening of the Lord, and find wisdom.

Romans 8:18-22 – “For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”

I Peter 2:9 – “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.”

And our theme verse of the week, Psalm 119:11 – “Thy Word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against Thee.”
