Campers were thrilled to compete in one of MSC’s most-anticipated events this afternoon: Air Raid! Campers were working to avoid being struck out by wet sodden balls thrown by the opponent. The battles were fierce, but FUN!
During this morning’s rotations, all campers got their turn on the 6-hole MSC disc golf course. Taking turns throwing the disc, the campers’ ultimate goal was to complete each hole with the minimal number of strokes/throws.

During this afternoon’s rotations, each team got their first chance to practice canoeing on Lake Shakamak. They will practice again tomorrow, and compete in canoe heats Thursday. Naturally there were a few tipped canoes today, some accidentally, and potentially at least one intentionally.
During this morning’s rotation, all campers got their turn at the water balloon launch on the lower sports field. They launched their balloon toward photo targets of the Compadres, and aimed for a 900 point bullseye bonus. Sometimes you fizzle, sometimes you don’t! 😉
Afternoon rotations are now over and it’s time for the Monday scoreboard. All teams competed in three games of Ultimate Frisbee, and three games of volleyball. Back by popular demand, one of the campers’ favorite new sports at MSC is Ultimate Frisbee. Each team got to take their turn on the Ultimate Frisbee course as part of Monday’s afternoon rotation.
